Has anyone dealt with South Bay Collections calling nonstop and making threats?

I’ve been getting hammered with calls from South Bay Collections for weeks now. They call early morning, late evening, and even showed up on my caller ID at work. A few times they left voicemails that sounded threatening — mentioning wage garnishment and legal action if I didn’t pay immediately.

I asked them to stop calling my job, but they kept doing it. They also contacted a family member about the debt, which felt like a huge violation. I’m not even sure the debt is valid because they never sent me anything in writing after the first call.

I finally looked into my rights and found out some of what they’re doing might break federal law. I’m considering reaching out for legal help because I can’t take the stress anymore.

Has anyone else been through this with them? How did you make it stop?
