Post Reply: Continental GT suspension feels harsh – anyone tried a Bentley shock specialist in Dubai?

Quote from Guest on May 8, 2026, 12:42 am

I've got a 2014 Continental GT that's been riding noticeably firmer than it should, especially over the joints on Sheikh Zayed Road, and I'm pretty sure the adaptive dampers are past their prime at around 120k km. The dealer quoted me a truly eye-watering amount for four new shocks, and I honestly can't justify that right now. I've been searching for a place that offers Bentley Shock Absorber Service Dubai and actually knows how to handle the air suspension or the electronic damping without messing up the calibration. Has anyone here taken their Continental or Flying Spur to an independent specialist that did a proper job replacing shocks or struts? I'm fine with quality aftermarket or refurbished units as long as they're reliable, but I need a shop that won't break something else in the process. Also curious if anyone's tried converting to conventional shocks to avoid the high costs of the electronic ones, or is that a terrible idea on these cars? Any real-world recommendations would really help because right now I'm driving around feeling every pebble on the road and it's ruining the whole luxury experience.
